Interior Architecture
Our Interior Architecture services are at the heart of what we do. Working within an architectural "shell" (new or existing) we can reshape any interior element, balancing structural, regulatory and design considerations. Early project involvement ensures a streamlined design and build process, maximising outcomes, and saving clients money in the long term.
Space Planning and Layout: We analyse and optimise the use of interior spaces. This includes considering how people move through the space, the functionality of each area, and maximising both efficiency and comfort. Our expertise also extends to modifying interior structures, including both load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls. Whether through room relocations or the adaptive reuse of spaces, we help clients meet evolving needs while enhancing functionality and bringing their design vision to life
Structural Modifications: We have knowledge of building codes as well as architectural and structural engineering basic principles. This allows us to propose modifications to a building’s interior structure including modifying walls, design proposals for windows, doors or staircases, and ensuring that these changes comply and are carefully planned out with your builder from the outset.

Our process is highly collaborative, starting with a 90 minute paid consultation and briefing session with you, ideally in your home. This initial meeting sets the framework and objectives for the project, ensuring we understand your vision and goals. We will discuss various aspects of your project, such as scope, lifestyle requirements, functionality, budget, and aesthetics. During our meeting, we will provide you with initial ideas and inspiration while exploring the full scope of your project in detail. The cost for this initial consultation is $390.00.

Some of our clients find the initial design consultation is sufficient for what they need and are happy to move forward on their own, while others will have additional work they need help with. Once we have a better idea of scope we would then go away and prepare a fee proposal for any additional work you might need help with. You can then decide whether or not you would like to work together on that additional work. Generally this additional work includes some or all of the following phases.

After the concept phase, we move into Design Development to ensure our ideas are both practical and achievable. In this stage, we refine the design, collaborating closely with your project team and builder.
We finalise details such as materials, finishes, and fixtures, ensuring alignment with the project’s vision, budget, and timeline.
We also address any technical challenges, coordinating with all stakeholders to maintain clear communication and a smooth workflow.
By the end of this phase, you will receive a detailed, realistic design, fully prepared for the documentation stage.

Choose Your Session: Select a 15 minute or 30 minute session and complete your booking at checkout. (Each 15 minute block is $60).
